Imam Rapes Daughter’s Schoolmate in Ibadan.
An Iman of Educational Legacy College’s Mosque in Ibadan, the Oyo
State Capital, Isiaka Salimonu has been reportedly arrested for
allegedly raping a 15 year-old girl, simply identified as Yetunde.
It was gathered that the suspect, whose daughter and Yetunde are classmate, had been wooing the victim since September last year.
Isiaka Salimonu, 43 year-old man, who has been detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department(SCID) Iyaganku Ibadan, was said to have promised to give Yetunde an holy oil for prayers to improve her academic performance.
However, “Daily Post” learnt that Yetunde, was in the college’s mosque where Salimonu is also an Arabic teacher to collect the oil, it was there she was allegedly raped by the suspect who has since confessed to the crime.
On getting home, she reported the matter to her elder brother who swung into action by reporting the matter at the Olodo Police Station, while her father took her to a nearby hospital where it was confirmed that she was actually raped.
Meanwhile, the state’s police spokesperson, Femi Okanlawon, confirmed that the suspect has confessed to the crime and said investigation was still ongoing.
Okanlawon added that the Iman would soon be charged to court for trial immediately the Police gathered enough facts on the alleged matter.

If you drive a car, you’ll be blue when you read this: red cars attract more bird droppings than any other color.
The game-changing evidence comes from a new study from Great Britain, which recorded the number of “emissions” made on cars by the birds in five British cities.
More than 1100 cars were analyzed over a two-day period and at the end, 18 percent of the pooped-on cars were red and 14 percent were blue, followed by black (11 percent), white (7 percent), grey or silver (3 percent) and green cars, which only got one percent of the bird bombs, according to Independent Online.
Why are birds targeting red cars more than others? Hard to say conclusively, since Halfords, the British-based auto retailer that sponsored the survey, didn’t bother to survey the birds themselves.
Instead, they gathered anecdotal explanations from drivers. For instance, one Lexus driver suggested newly polished cars suffer because birds see a reflection of themselves, while a Ford Focus owner believed the darker the color the deeper the reflection and the more violent the reaction.
Others thought birds saw red as a danger or they went for similar colors to their own plumage. In seaside resorts seagulls went for white cars, while in cities pigeons go for grey.
A spokesman for the British Trust for Ornithology poo-poohed those bird-brained theories and suggested to Independent Online that the key to avoiding bird poop was location.
“We do know that birds can be attracted to certain colors during display, but droppings on cars has probably more to do with where you park; if you park where birds roost, then you are going to get more droppings on your vehicle,” he said.
Perhaps the more important finding from the bird poop poll is not what kind of cars attract the birds, but which owners bother to clean it up.
Only 17 percent said they wiped off deposits as soon as they’re discovered, 20 percent said they took action “within a couple of days,” and 55 per cent waited until the next car wash, according to TheMotorReport.com.au
Bird poop may stain a car and hurt the paint job, but some people don’t think it’s crappy.

alleged leading figures as International Terrorist and intending
designation of Boko Haram as Foreign Terrorist Organisation (FTO), there
is need to look at its implecation.
1. That designation means that America can hunt down Boko Haram operatives and kill or capture them without fear of breaching national sovereignty. American govt can give them Osama treatment.
2. America will increase aerial and ground surveillance of Northern Nigeria and will use all available resources, including drones to target and destroy Boko Haram operatives.
3. There will be increased immigration checks on travelers with Muslim names and Northern Nigeria origin. On the flip side, names like John, Emeka, Innocent, Larry etc will undergo less scrutiny. Americans know Igbos are not suicide bombers.
4. In the event of a religious war, we will most likely have America on our side. Unlike the situation in 1966. This is a major blow to UK government that have tried to stop America from doing the right thing. While they succeeded in keeping America away during the civil war, they can’t do so now. The North is naked.
5. The sponsors of Boko Haram will now be identified by America and can no longer hide within the porous and corruption riddled Nigerian system where they can blackmail the President and buy off security agents.
