NIGERIA PRESIDENT GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN WEEPS AT THE SCENE OF THE FATEFUL PLANE CRASH



The President, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan visited the site of the ill-fated Dana Air Crash this afternoon and could not help shedding a few tears.
Uneasy surely lies the head that wears the crown, how much tragedy can a Nation bear withing three days? .. Tankers burning on Lagos -Ibadan expressway causing multiple deaths, suicide bomber bombing in Bauchi, the plane crash and billboard collapsing on the third mainland bridge. May God heal our land and save us from the ceaseless bloodshed...............

A UN-backed war crimes court sitting at Leidshendam, Netherlands has sentenced former Liberian warlord and President, Charles Taylor to 50 years imprisonment. The sentenced was carried out today, Wednesday, May 30 after Charles Taylor was found guilty of war crimes he committed while in power. The trial chamber unanimously found Charles guilty of all charges brought against him. He becomes the first former head of state to be sentenced by a world court after the Nazi trials in 1946 at Nuremberg.
